My 8 year old daughter just started to play golf. This set (bag and clubs) is perfect for her. Comes with the essential clubs (driver, putter, 5/7/9) all appear to be of quality craftmanship and the bag has enough pockets (maybe could use a few more) to hold her golf balls, tees and other misc stuff. The bottle holder mesh pocket is a little tight. Wouldn't recommend you put anything other than a standard bottle of water in there or it will probably tear. The straps are designed to go over both shoulders. For the price, I would definitely recommend this set to anyone looking to purchase clubs for their 8-12 yr old daughter who is just starting to play.

Having just taken up golf myself, I was going to the driving range and my daughter asked to come. We borrowed a driver for her and went hitting. To my surprise she had alot of fun,didn't complain at all and even hit a few further than I did(topped the ball a few times). So I asked her if she'd want her own set for x-mas and she said yes. I just recieved the set and was pleasently surpised at the overall quality. They seem sturdy enough and seemed to be balanced pretty well. These will be perfect for her for the next few years and if she doesn't use them all that often it's still worth the money. I just hope she doesn't find them before x-mas.

These were purchased for my granddaughter's 10th birthday. Not only does she love having her own clubs, but they are PINK which is totally rad according to her. They are a nice beginning set for a price that couldn't be beat. If golf turns out to be not her thing, the investment is not that huge.
