4 out of 5 stars Nice for the price...but....   August 29, 2010
T. Lyons (SF BAY AREA)
The Item was shipped in its orginal box and suffered some damage to box during shipping. Not normally a big deal, but the box is how you store when not in use...so it is my opinion it should have shipped in another box. When taking it out of package, found the matt was really well rolled up...except for the last foot or so, that was folded and a crease was put in the matt??? :( Anyone knows you cant have a crease in a putting matt. We have some heavy things on the mattt now trying to get the matt to sit flat that last foot or so..it might work? Other than that the matt is cool, made well and was good entertainment and practice for my family. Would have given it a 5 star rating if the dumby who rolled it up to put it in the box didnt fold a crease in the last foot of the matt!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Value   August 12, 2010

I wonder why someone would give this product less than a five star rating. Perhaps if you are comparing this to some super premium green with a premium price tag, maybe then there would be reason to nit-pick. But for $40-$50, what an awesome value. It is plenty big and feels pretty natural. I feel like I can simulate a lot of different putts from different angles, not like those boxy cheep things typically sold in golf super stores. I honestly think this will give me a leg up on my buddies by being able to practice my putting at home. Great gift item.

2 out of 5 stars Useful but ridiculously overpriced   May 12, 2010

This putting practice tool is exactly what it looks like, a piece of green outdoor carpeting with holes cut in it and foam rubber glued to the back. For practicing your short putts, it works fine. However, I take issue with the price of this item. If I were to make this myself I'm pretty confident I could do it for less than 5 bucks, and I wish I would have. I don't know what I was expecting but for the price they charge, you should be getting a lot more than what you get.

4 out of 5 stars Good Mat.   March 11, 2010

It came nicely rolled up, lays flat, has enough flex and stiff that it can have some elevation changes put under it with out crimping or wrinkling and foam is sturdy enough to get walked on. Also the curve adds a nice bit of extra trickyness, and the kidney shape makes sure your feet are on the same level as your putter. A good mat for sure.

4 out of 5 stars Great Gift   February 1, 2010

This was a Xmas gift for my brother who was recovering from knee surgery. Along with a new putter, it was just the thing to work on his game.
